Introduction
Çebiti is a delicious recipe of beef or lamb of the Ottoman Empire of early 20th century. That is based on spicy marination used in our cousine.it is a mouth-watering dish which is getting popular day by day throughout the world.in this fast age of life every one wants to have a meal that is very easy to cook for every one and it takes very less time to prepare.
Ingredients to prepare çebiti
- Beef or lamb 1 kg
- Onion paste (one big size)
- Tomato paste (3 table spoons)
- Garlic paste (2 table spoons)
- Chili flakes (1 table spoons)
- Salt to taste
- Vinegar (5 table spoons)
- Food color one pinch
- Oil (1 table spoon)
- Green chili paste (2 table spoons)
- Yogurt (1 cup)
Procedure of cooking çebiti
To cook çebiti takes very less time and very easy to assemble all the yummy ingredients. First of all, you need to wash beef or lamb whatever you are using. Then to marinate it add vinegar in a bowl add green chili paste, yogurt, tomato paste, chili flakes, salt, onion paste, garlic paste and oil. Mix all these spices very well. After that apply this thick paste of spices on beef so that it goes inside the beef very well and absorb in it. This marinated beef or lamb is ready to keep for rest at least 5 to 6 hours. So that beef gets tendered due to use of vinegar.
Then after 5 to 6 hours keep çebiti on low flame for getting tender and soft to eat. After this step you need to fry if on coal that is giving some color to it or grill it for best taste and it may not loss its moisture.

The topping of çebiti is the part and parcel of dish. Beautiful combination of colors of vegies that is tomatoes, onion, green chili and lemon. You can sauté onion rings and tomatoes and put on çebiti for more flavor’s put green chili and lemon aside with dish.
